In conjunction with the participation of Gao Xing Jian from 8 to 11 november, the Singapore Writers Festival is welcoming other French representatives such as Catherine Breillat, Olivier du Payrat and Emmanuel Delloye, bringing French literature forward to Singapore!

 Olivier Du Payrat, director of  ECLA and for the festival « Escale du Livre » in the French town of Bordeaux, and Emmanuel Delloye, artistic director of the festival “ Etonnanst Voyageurs de Saint Malo” and member of the World Alliance, will be in Singapore respectively from 1 to 4 November and from 8 to 11 November to participate in professional meetings.

 As for Catherine Breillat, French novelist, scenarist and film director, she will be in Singapore this week-end and will be participating at the following programmes:

Screening of « Blue Beard » and « Sleeping Beauty», followed by a debate

11.30 : Conférence on the theme « Shooting Stars »

7.30pm: Conference on the theme « Misogyny in fairy tales? Stepmothers get a bad rap »
