Held last Monday at St Regis, the Life! Theatre Awards have awarded Serene CHEN with the “Best Supporting Actress” award for her role in the theatrical presentation of “8 WOMEN”, produced by Sing’Theatre with the support of Institut français Singapour. She was playing the role of Rose, the victim’s sister-in-law, looking hilarious in a bitter old lady, hypochondriac and a scandalmonger .
Sing’Theatre is now well known for staging high quality shows drawing on French cultural heritage and is presently showing the cabaret comedy which won tremendous acclaim in 2010: “A Singaporean in Paris”. More details here.
