Ltd., and the Singapore National Institute of Chemistry (SNIC), the workshop “From Molecules to Materials: Translating Science to Technology” will be held on 20 August 2013 on the sidelines of the “15th Asian Chemistry Congress” (15ACC).

The event will be held at the Resorts World Sentosa.

The objective of the workshop is to strengthen bilateral research ties through developing new partnerships between France and Singapore.

“From Molecules to Materials” is one of the most important research areas in chemistry for both academia and industry, covering molecular catalysis, MOF, energy materials, biomaterials, carbon materials, personal care and related applications. In general, this workshop will provide a platform for the scientists from France and Singapore to communicate and exchange on the latest advances in various topics, which will be illustrated by many presentations, in the area of “From Molecules to Materials”. Among the various topics presented during the 15ACC which will gathered top leading Asian researchers, this workshop aim is to create opportunities to generate new partnerships. In addition, industries will be invited to enhance academic-industry interaction and collaboration.
