Presented for the first time in Asia, Ma vie avec Mozart (My Life with Mozart) is adapted from the epistolary noval by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, putting on stage a dialogue between the writer and the composer.
A dynamic alternance of text and works by Mozart interpreted by a quintet of renowned professional musicians and singers, this creation offers a moment of unique quality between music and literature. At 15, the narrator is a depressed adolescent who thinks of suicide, when his discovery of “The Marriage of Figaro” by Mozart gave him back the will to live. An epistolary and musical dialogue begins and at each step of his life, the protagonist seeks advice from the musician.
