French writer Jean-Philippe Arrou-Vignod will be in Singapore in conjunction with the Prix Segalen, which awards every year a narrative and francophone work of recent publication for its originality, its history and for the reflections it stimulates.

Jean-Philippe Arrou-Vignod is an ex-student of L’Ecole normale supérieure and holder of  an agregation higher degree in modern French literature. He is the author of many novels for adults as well as youngsters and famous titles include the series “Enquête au collège” (“Investigation at school”), the “Histoires de Jean-Quelque-chose” (“The stories of Jean Something”) or the albums “Rita et Machin” (“Rita and Whatsit”) 

 He is presently the director of collection at Gallimard Jeunesse.
