The Créteil International Women Film Festival features international creations by women since 1979 at Créteil (France). The Call for entries is open until the 20th November 2017.
Cinema is today, still subject to discrimination. Statistically, women are more exposed to difficulties than men in film-making creations. Barriers persist between sponsors and female film-makers and gaining trust is complicated.
Thankfully, cinema has an open-minded approach on brainstorming. This medium, largely appreciated by the audience, can spread ideas and help against stereotypes.
The Créteil International Women Film Festival increase the value to feminine cinematic productions during ten days. Three international competitions are offered to the audience:
-Features films (fictions) selection
– Documentary films selection
– Short films selection
Simultaneously, many other events are organised, such as masterclass, conferences, concerts, parties and exhibitions…
The 40th edition of the festival will take place from the 9th to the 18th of March, 2018 at the “Maison des Arts” in Créteil.
Ladies, it’s time to submit your creations, until the 20th of November, 2017.
